Luxembourg's Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy has announced that the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) recently launched its first call for projects for the 2021-2027 programming period.

The ESF+ is the main instrument of the European Union (EU) for investing in human capital.

In Luxembourg, the ESF+ is managed by the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, which noted that the instrument supports the national employment policy, vocational training and the fight against exclusion, and promotes the transmission of skills related to climate transition. ESF+ thus finances projects at national or local level by various actors for the benefit of people exposed to difficulties related to professional and social integration, according to the ministry.

This call for projects will be open until 26 March 2023. Further information is available on the website www.fse.lu.
