The Luxembourg family business Renmans has agreed to provide the charity Stëmm vun der Strooss with enough meat for 4,500 meals in 2017.

At the end of November 2016, Stëmm’s Vice President André Theisen and Manager Alexandra Oxacelay met with the Renmans butchers team in Bertrange to renew their partnership between December 2016 and November 2017.

Renmans, which is a family business with 10 butchers in Luxembourg, has already provided enough free meat for Stëmm to make over 25,000 meals between 2011 and 2016 for those in need. Likewise, they will continue their support in the coming year.

Only in December 2016, Renmans will have provided enough free meat for the preparation of more than 2,500 meals. Moreover, between January and November 2017, the butchers chain will give Stëmm free meat once a month so as to prepare 200 meals, making the total more than 2,000 over 11 months.

This is seen as an action of solidarity with those in need and will be conveyed to the public through the use of social media and flyers, as well as through other means.
