On Wednesday 7th December 2016, representatives of the Kleiderbörse Capellen and the Dippech Hëlleft awarded the Stëmm vun der Strooss a donation of €4,000.
Last week, the Stëmm vun der Strooss was honoured to receive a check for €4,000 from the presidents of Kleiderbörse Capellen, Evelyn Gschwindt, and the Dippech Hëlleft, John Bei. The check was presented to the Stëmm director, Alexandra Oxacelay, at the municipality of Dippach.
The money had been collected at annual second-hand markets through the close collaboration between the organisations.
Alexandra Oxacelay has emphasized that the funds will be used to finance the traditional Christmas party, which will take place on Thursday 22 December at the Centre Culturel in Bonnevoie this year.
The party is a key event of the association, at which over 300 disadvantaged persons will receive a festive meal and gifts. Four members of Dippech Hëlleft and the Kleiderbörse will be volunteering during the party, where they will be managing the big raffle.
