On Friday 14 May 2021, the Conservatoire de Luxembourg will host a piano concert performed by Momir Damjanovic, a 20-year-old pianist from Serbia.

The laureate and winner of many international competitions, Momir Damjanovic is currently in his second year of studies at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He has perfected his skills with world renowned musicians and professors, including Russian pianist and composer Evgeny Starodubtsev, Armenian pianist and professor Ruben Dalibaltayan, Dagestan-born concert pianist Albert Mamriev and Russian piano soloist Mikhail Lidsky.

The concert, which starts at 20:00 on 14 May, will feature works by Dmitri Shostakovich, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Sergei Prokofiev, Johann Sebastian Bach, Carl Maria von Weber and Franz Liszt.

At the initiative of the concert sponsor East-West United Bank (EWUB), the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to SOS Villages d'Enfants Monde, a Luxembourgish charity which strives to inform the public, raise funds, educate on development matters and lobby for children's rights in order to make a lasting impact on vulnerable children worldwide.

Tickets cost €10 and can be purchased on the Luxembourg-Ticket website. Due to security measures related to COVID-19, the number of tickets is limited.
