Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced an increase in the price of 98 and 95 octane petrol. Other fuel prices remain stable.

As of Tuesday 1 September 2026, the price of unleaded 98 octane petrol has increased by 5.1 cents to €1.983 per litre (including VAT) and  the price of unleaded 95 octane petrol has increased by 4.4 cents to €1.792 per litre (including VAT).

The price for diesel remains at €1.865 per litre (including VAT) while the cost of heating oil also remains stable at €1.355.

Prices for diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use remain steady at €1.470 and €1.317 respectively.

LPG and propane prices are unchanged at 70.4 and 74.2 cents per litre respectively.

Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
