The Orchestre de Chambre du Luxembourg (OCL) has announced that its next concert will take place on Sunday 7 February 2021 at the Philharmonie Luxembourg at 20:00.
Under the direction of conductor Carlo Rizzari, the OCL will open this concert with the premiere of Demain la montagne (tomorrow the mountain), a work by composer Olivier Dartevelle which has been commissioned by Luxembourg's Ministry of Culture.
Gustav Mahler's Symphony n°4 is also on the programme for this evening, in an arrangement for chamber orchestra by Klaus Simon. The song "Das himmlische Leben" (heavenly life) in the final movement will be performed by soprano Samantha Gaul.
