The Europa Donna Luxembourg association has announced that they have received a donation of €525 from the Fläisseg Hänn group, based in Schifflange.

This amount was raised from the sale of the group’s small heart-shaped seatbelt cushions and Christmas decorations.

The Fläisseg Hänn group actively engages in various social initiatives and pursues solidarity missions. Under the leadership of Marie-Jeanne Claude, the group meets weekly at the Clubhouse beim Kiosk in Schifflange to work creatively in a friendly atmosphere. Their motto is: “Together, sewing is easier and much more fun.” All age groups participate in the sewing and craft activities on offer. The group also regularly delivers their heart-shaped cushions to the oncology department of the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch (CHEM) in Esch-sur-Alzette, to provide support and comfort to patients.

Europa Donna expressed its thanks to Fläisseg Hänn for the donation, stating that it highlights the group’s dedication to supporting affected patients.
