The 2024 edition of the Bazar International de Luxembourg (International Bazaar), held from 15 to 17 November at LuxExpo The Box, has concluded with a turnout of over 43,000 visitors.

Luxembourg’s Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and Hereditary Grand Duchess Princess Stéphanie once again officially inaugurated the event, underscoring the importance of this tradition in Luxembourg’s cultural and philanthropic landscape.

The Bazar featured 62 stands representing 55 countries, transforming LuxExpo into a “global village”. Visitors enjoyed a variety of international foods, handmade crafts and various cultural performances, including live music and folkloric dances. The multicultural atmosphere provided a unique platform for celebrating global diversity while fostering a sense of shared community.

In keeping with its core mission, all proceeds from the event will be dedicated to supporting charitable projects both locally and globally. The funds raised (expected to surpass last year’s total of over €500,000) will be allocated to initiatives focusing on education, healthcare and community development, aiming to positively impact lives around the world.

Organised entirely by volunteers, this year more than 1000, the Bazar International exemplifies the extraordinary power of collective action. According to the organisers, this year’s success is a “testament to the generosity of the Luxembourg community, whose support ensures the continued impact of this annual tradition”.

The International Bazaar brings together diverse communities for a greater cause. Plans are already underway for next year’s edition, promising even more opportunities to celebrate and give back.
