Credit: Stëmm vun der Strooss
On Friday 15 November 2024, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a local non-profit organisation promoting the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people, reported that it recently received a donation from the Wahlhausen-based choir "Wuelësser Sängerfrënn".
The choir presented a donation of €800 to the non-profit on 26 October 2024. This amount comes from donations made on the occasion of the purchase of the new organ for the church of Wahlhausen.
The choir members selected Stëmm vun der Strooss in Ettelbruck due to their desire to support the increasing number of people in need in Luxembourg. The Stëmm Ettelbruck manager, Francesco Settanni, took part in the final concert of the Wahlhausen choir as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations. The municipality of Parc Hosingen hosted an honorary wine reception at the "A Meesch" cultural centre in Wahlhausen on this occasion.
The official donation ceremony was preceded by a presentation of Stëmm vun der Strooss' activities.
