Fondation Majany Donates 400 Roses to Stëmm vun der Strooss on Valentine's Day

 Stëmm vun der Strooss, a local non-profit organisation that supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, announced that the Fondation Majany, under the auspices of the Fondation de Luxembourg, offered roses to the three social restaurants of the Stëmm vun der Strooss on Wednesday 14 February 2024.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Fondation Majany, represented by Frédéric Loridon and Laurent Meiers, gave roses to the Stëmm vun der Strooss for Valentine's Day. This year, 400 roses were distributed in the association's social restaurants in Hollerich, Esch-sur-Alzette and Ettelbruck, bringing joy to the recipients, Stëmm vun der Strooss said.

“Giving a rose is a powerful symbol, especially when you give it to someone who is not used to receiving something in everyday life,” the association underlined.

The Stëmm vun der Strooss expressed its gratitude to the Fondation Majany, the Fondation de Luxembourg and also the company Fleurs Vry, which delivered the roses early in the morning in Hollerich and Esch-sur-Alzette.
