Apothecary - The Cold Pressed Juicery, a Luxembourg-based specialist in vitamin and healthy juices, has announced the launch of its "Charity Edition 2022".

Apothecary's "Charity Edition" is a cold-pressed fruit juice, full of vitamins, which owes its taste to a mix of pomegranates, oranges, cinnamon and ginger. All of the sales proceeds will be donated to a charitable organisation.

The Charity Edition juice also comes with a tag, containing seeds of selected herbs, that can be planted at home.

This exclusive edition is limited to 2,800 bottles and focuses not only on the contents but also on the packaging. Last year's bottle and box were designed by local artist Jacques Schneider and for the 2022 edition, Jerry Wagner, the founder of Apothecary, has collaborated with the Luxembourgish illustrator Lynn Cosyn.

Born in 1985, Lynn Cosyn studied architecture at RWTH Aachen University in Germany and changed career paths in 2016 to become a full-time illustrator. When she first started posting her drawings on Instagram, people quickly became fascinated by her talent. Today, she works on all types of art projects, from smaller visuals to bigger mural pieces, and was even chosen to decorate a Luxair aeroplane. For Apothecary's Charity Edition, the artist wanted to draw something special: as a young mother, she has a special bond with children and so she decided to design a funny children's character with a weakness for fruit and vegetables. The character is featured on both the bottle itself and the container.

Following the wish of the artist, all of the profits from this Charity Edition will be donated to Trauerwee asbl, a non-profit organisation which supports children and young people suffering from the loss of a parent or loved one.

"This decision shows that Lynn values the well-being of the younger generation - a value that is not only shared by Apothecary, but also by our clients", explained Jerry Wagner.

"The project is a collaboration between Apothecary and talented artists, such as Lynn Cosyn", Jerry added. "This partnership aims to promote humanitarian thoughts and foster the local economy - following Apothecary’s philosophy, which is to work primarily with local and regional partners, to offer cold-pressed juices of the highest quality".
