Stëmm vun der Strooss, a local non-profit organisation which supports homeless people and vulnerable members of society, has announced that it is teaming up with Quai 57 - Suchtberodungsstell, a service run by Arcus Asbl, to offer additional support to people struggling with addiction or other substance-related problems.
From Friday 11 November 2022, as a result of this collaboration, this target group will have two new points of contact for advice, namely in the Stëmm vun der Strooss establishments at 7 Rue de la Fonderie in Luxembourg-Hollerich and at 31 Grand-Rue in Esch-sur-Alzette.
This support includes psychosocial and psychotherapeutic outpatient consultations, focusing on the development of individual projects, as well as advice and follow-up for people who wish to undergo residential therapy in Luxembourg or abroad. Information is also available regarding social inclusion (e.g. employment, administration, justice, housing).
The Quai 57 - Suchtberodungsstell team (who are experienced in helping people suffering from an addiction or addictive behaviour) will be present every two weeks, on Tuesdays and Fridays, in Hollerich and Esch-sur-Alzette. The consultations are anonymous and free of charge.

Consultation hours in Esch-sur-Alzette from 12:00 to 13:30 on 22 November and on 6 and 20 December 2022.
