Belgian non-profit organisation Association Femmes d'Europe recently donated ten tents to Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg non-profit organisation which supports homeless people and vulnerable members of society.

Since Femmes d'Europe also cares for people living on the streets, its team decided to support Stëmm vun der Strooss again this year with a donation of €500. This money was used to finance about ten tents, which will be redistributed free of charge. Many of the beneficiaries of Stëmm vun der Strooss sleep on the streets and are at the mercy of the weather conditions. Owning a tent not only gives them shelter from the rain and wind, but also some privacy.

The tents are being handed out to interested clients at the Saxo branch of the non-profit at 24 Rue de Hollerich in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie. The facility is located only a few hundred metres from the Stëmm vun der Strooss headquarters.

Femmes d'Europe is a philanthropic, non-political and independent association whose volunteer members are divided into 23 national groups.
