7-year-old David, who suffers from leukemia, has fulfilled his dream of setting up his own YouTube channel thanks to the efforts of the Luxembourg association "Kanner Wonsch", formerly known as Make-a-Wish.

David discovered YouTube during his extended stay at the Brussels Hospital after being diagnosed with leukemia. Since then, he has continued watching online videos and even dreamt of having his own YouTube channel. Now, thanks to the Kanner Wonsch team, David's dream has come true. Subscribers can follow the adventures of "The DAVID" through his very own YouTube videos.

To kick-start his incredible adventures with a bang, Kanner Wonsch Luxembourg organised a packed itinerary for David, including a Ferrari ride to the Special Unit of the Luxembourg Police on 4 July, where he could experience the daily life of a police officer. The officers arrived at the police headquarters in an armoured van before preparing David for a special mission. After donning his tailor-made uniform, The DAVID and his new colleagues set out for the forest in pursuit of a criminal, who they caught easily due to David's patiently waiting in camouflage in the forest.

They then all returned to the training ground where they zip lined from 15 metres high and participated in a shooting session. The day ended with cake and presents offered by the officers to David.

This Saturday, the Kanner Wonsch team will also be taking David and his friends to Walygator Park where he can meet Waly, the park's mascot, and enjoy all the rides.
