Handicap International receives cheque from Langwies in Junglinster;
Traders of Langwies presented Handicap International Luxembourg with a cheque for €10,000 towards their "SCHOOL4ALL" campaign.
This solidarity initiative, within the context of the "Junglinster charity" initiative, concluded with a festive day on Sunday 7 October 2018 at the Langwies Shopping Centre in Junglinster.
Handicap International thanked all the merchants of Langwies for their exceptional effort.
Many activities were organised during the period from 20 September to 7 October 2018 in Junglinster. Among these, a scratch game competition, a collection in exchange of shopping cart tokens Delhaize supermarket, and a sale of HI products together collected nearly €1,000. In addition, Sunday 7 October was hailed for its festive atmosphere, with trials bike demonstrations by World Champion Thierry Klinkenberg, free introductory sessions in Thai boxing by Prince Junior, Benelux Thai Boxing Champion and Handicap International's ambassador, and a disability awareness workshop through an obstacle course.
The benefit of these activities was donated to Handicap International, for the benefit of the "SCHOOL4ALL" campaign, which aims to provide every child with access to quality education.
