Luxair Group has selected Fujitsu Luxembourg as part of the outsourcing of IT support services to group users.
The collaboration commenced on 1 April with a renewable contract for three years. It concerns the IT support — hardware and software — of more than 1,000 workstations and approximately 2,700 employee users.
LuxairGroup operates around four axes: Luxair Luxembourg Airlines, LuxairTours (tour operator), LuxairCargo (cargo handling) and LuxairServices Passengers and aircraft on call, catering on board, etc.
LuxairGroup's IT Services and Solutions department has around 40 employees and provides all IT services to the Group's entities.
"Our business model, which is based on the different aviation, tourism and logistics professions, is constantly evolving and requires flexibility”, said Joël Feltes, head of IT infrastructure for LuxairGroup.
"At the same time, we are facing a growing workload. In order to control the support costs while maintaining maximum flexibility and uniformity of services, we decided to launch a call for tender for the staffing of our Service Desk".
As part of the contract between Fujitsu Luxembourg and LuxairGroup, the ICT solutions and services provider is committed to transitioning the business with existing teams and continuously improving the service relationship, taking into account the specificities and expectations of the client.
