At its ordinary general meeting last Thursday, the Luxembourg SAP User Group signed off on the accounts for 2016 and announced the work programme for this year, presented by the association’s president, Laurent Federspiel of Encevo.

The LSUG will continue its exchange with SAP and the Administration de l'Registration and Domain (AED) to ensure that SAP users can benefit from an adequate FAIA (computer audit file) solution.

The AED has had the right since 2012 to require any taxable person under audit who has an accounting system to issue an FAIA file at OECD standards. The FAIA facilitates the exchange of information

Indeed, since 2012, the Administration of Registration and Domains (AED) can require any taxable person, who has an accounting system, to issue, during a tax audit, a file FAIA according to OECD standards. As the FAIA is therefore part of a data processing automation framework, it facilitates the exchange of information with the taxable persons and also enables the EDA to carry out automatic and computerised checks on the source data of the EDA,

Thus, this method of tax inspection no longer requires the removal of a controller at the premises of the company concerned or the communication of paper data.

In addition, the LSUG plans, as every year, to visit two companies that have implemented the SAP solution, giving the member companies of the association the opportunity to understand the way in which the SAP software has been implemented in different sectors for different uses.

A meeting with SAP Belux is planned, which should give LSUG members an opportunity to discover new SAP cloud solutions for SMEs.
