On Saturday 16 September 2017, Luxembourg will again pay its respects to victims of the Second World War at an event organised by Amicale Hinzert.
Amicale Hinzert is holding commemorative event for the Second World in the former concentration camp at Hinzert next week. The association has invited other Luxembourgish organisations to participate in these patriotic commemorative celebrations, if possible bringing along their flags.
The event will begin at 14:00 with fireworks at the chapel, followed by a mass reading from Abbot Patrick Muller. Chorale Menchor will perform Atertdaul under the direction of Adriana Mitu. They are accompanied by Tatsiana Binck-Molakava on the piano.
At 15:30, the celebrations will move on to the documentation centre, where this year the Consulate General of Ukraine to Frankfurt, Alla Polyova, will lead the discussion.
