On Monday 4 September, HRH the Grand Duke received in audience at the Grand Ducal residence in Colmar Berg, the famous Swiss aviator and explorer Bertrand Piccard, together with Lucien Hoffmann, Director of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).
Friends for many years of the Royal couple, Mr Piccard is in Luxembourg to attend the International Conference Life Cycle Management (LCM)2017. Organised every two years, this event focuses on technology conception, products and its lasting politics. Subjects on which the Head of State is deeply concerned and featured heavily at the centre of the days discussion.
LIST is organising this International Conference in association with the University of Luxembourg and ArcelorMittal, over 3 days and which involves more than 600 participants from 40 countries.
