The Grand Ducal Police has reported that the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in Reisdorf, located close to Diekirch and on the border with Germany, was blown up in the early hours of Friday 17 January 2025.
The incident happened at around 04:25 on Route de la Sûre in Reisdorf, following which the police were informed. Several police units, including the technical police, arrived at the scene of the incident. No one had been injured and an investigation was launched.
The road was reopen to traffic a short while later.
