On Friday 10 January 2025, two police officers were injured during a check of a vehicle on the Route d'Arlon in Luxembourg city.
The incident happened at around 15:20: during a check of a suspicious vehicle on Route d'Arlon, the occupants of the vehicle being checked attempted to evade the police. In doing so, they rammed a police car, injuring two police officers.
One person was immediately caught and arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor.
A large-scale manhunt for the second suspect was launched; however, this was unsuccessful and an investigation has been launched.
