On Thursday 9 January 2025, the Grand Ducal Police issued a traffic report in relation to flooding in Ettelbruck, Schengen and Remich.
The police reported that, due to the announced risk of flooding, the Däich car park in Ettelbruck is currently closed. They asked vehicle owners whose vehicles are still parked in this car park to remove them "immediately".
Due to the flood risk, the police have also urged vehicle owners parked on the N10 in Schengen to remove their vehicles "immediately".
In addition, the Parking du Port car park in Remich has been closed. The owners of vehicles parked here, as well as along the N10 in Remich, are also asked to remove their vehicles "immediately".
