The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) has reported that the CSU 112 emergency call centre received approximately 400 calls amid the stormy weather on Monday afternoon.
The CGDIS was contacted about 400 times between 13:30 and 16:00 on Monday 6 January 2025, due to the strong winds.
CGDIS firefighters intervened nineteen times, mainly where trees that had fallen on roofs or damaged roofs.
Moreover, the National Roads Administration received reports of 65 fallen trees on roads.
