The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal road accident took place in Findel on Tuesday 10 December 2024.
Shortly after 19:00 on Tuesday, there was an accident on Rue de Treves in Findel in which a pedestrian was hit by a car. The victim was taken to hospital for further treatment after receiving emergency medical care on-site. However, the 51-year-old man died in hospital during the night due to his serious injuries.
On the orders of the public prosecutor's office, the relevant police department was tasked with investigating the accident.
The road was closed to traffic for the duration of the rescue operation and accident investigations until around 23:30.
