Luxembourg's National Lottery (Loterie Nationale) has announced that a player in the Grand Duchy secured the EuroMillions Extralux jackpot on Tuesday 15 October 2024.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of EuroMillions, the National Lottery organised the Luxembourg-exclusive additional game, Extralux.
This special edition allowed one player from Luxembourg to win the €1 million jackpot in Tuesday's draw. The National Lottery extended its "sincere congratulations" to the winner.
The National Lottery recalled that all of the proceeds generated through its games are used to finance social, cultural, environmental and sports projects in Luxembourg, through the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte.
Since 1945, the National Lottery has generated €543 million in profits, which have been entirely distributed to the Œuvre for its philanthropic missions.
