The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a knife attack occurred in Ettelbruck on Sunday 13 October 2024.
At around 20:25 on Sunday, a man was reported to have been cut with a knife near Place de la Gare in Ettelbruck.
A police patrol managed to find both the victim and the perpetrator on-site. According to initial information, an argument had broken out between the two visibly intoxicated men, with one slightly injuring the other in the leg with a knife. The victim was taken to hospital for examination.
During the body search, the police confiscated two knives from the perpetrator. During the police intervention, the perpetrator was reportedly uncooperative with the officers. Consequently, he was taken into custody to sober up. A report was drawn up.
