The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a man was arrested after a knife-related incident in Ettelbruck in the early hours of Monday 1 July 2024.
At around 01:00 on Monday, an argument broke out between two men in a bar on Rue Prince Henri in Ettelbruck, during which one injured the other with a knife. The victim was taken to hospital after receiving first aid on-site. His injuries are not life-threatening, according to the police.
The suspect was immediately located and arrested. Police confiscated some hashish during a body search. The man was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor's office and brought before the investigating judge on Monday afternoon.
