Friday 26 January 2024 was a busy day for the emergency services in Luxembourg, who had to respond to yet another fire.

Following the fire that broke out at Junglinster town hall, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) was called upon once more on Friday to put out a fire at the old Gantebeensmillen complex on Rue Anatole France.

Teams from Hesperange, Roeser and Luxembourg were mobilised in response to a fire that broke out at the abandoned building, which is located between Luxembourg-Bonnevoie and Itzig.

The fire was brought under control and no one was injured in the incident.
