On Monday 22 January 2024, Luxembourg's Ministry of Justice confirmed that a total of 11,904 people obtained Luxembourg nationality following naturalisation, choice and recovery procedures in 2023.
The split was as follows:
- 5,773 people obtained Luxembourg nationality by choice.
- 4,932 people obtained Luxembourg nationality by recovery.
- 1,199 people obtained Luxembourg nationality by naturalisation.

- 4,4404 Brazilian
- 189 British
- 159 Cape Verdean
- 100 Spanish
- 1,131 French
- 320 Italian
- 101 Montenegrin
