The Grand Ducal Police has confirmed that a man behaving suspiciously was found carrying a gun shortly after midnight of Sunday 21 January 2024 on rue Auguste Tremont in Luxembourg-Cents.
On Sunday at around 2:00, the police were informed of a person acting suspiciously on Rue Auguste Tremont in Luxembourg-Cents, who was carrying a firearm. The man was found in his car by a police patrol and checked. The police patrol found and confiscated a gas pistol from him.
A subsequent alcohol test was positive, leading to the confiscation of the man’s driver's licence. Furthermore, a rapid drug test was also positive. The police logged the incident.
