The Grand Ducal Police has confirmed that a man was arrested early on Thursday 18 January 2024 near the Wasserbillig area on suspicion of drug trafficking.
During a house search ordered as part of previous investigations, the police found and confiscated five packets of hashish, cash and a firearm with blank bullets in an apartment on Grand-Rue in Wasserbillig on Wednesday 17 January 2024.
On the orders of the public prosecutor, the man was arrested and brought before the examining magistrate on Thursday morning.
