The Grand Ducal Police confirmed that at around 12:50 on Monday 18 April 2022, the airport tower reported that a private sports aircraft had to make an emergency landing in a field between Misärsbréck and Boulaide due to engine problems.

The pilot and sole occupant was able to land his plane safely. Nobody was injured.

The police and the fire brigade were on site.
