On Saturday 2 April 2022, Luxembourg's Ministry of Family, Integration and the Greater Region announced that the annual "Winter Action" would be extended by three days.
In order to cope with the cold snap and the sub-zero temperatures, which are expected for the next three days, the Minister of Family Affairs and Integration, Corinne Cahen, announced the extension of the Winter Action (Wanteraktioun - WAK) until Tuesday 5 April 2022.
The Dräieck organisation - which manages the multifunctional emergency structure in Findel - opened building B on Saturday evening to house homeless people, with the local homeless services referring homeless people to the WAK.
