Luxembourg's Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy and the Ministry of Sport have announced that Minister Georges Engel has tested positive for COVID-19.
Following regular screening through rapid antigen tests, Luxembourg's Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy and Minister of Sport, Georges Engel, tested positive for COVID-19. The positive result still needs to be confirmed by a PCR test.
In accordance with the health provisions in force, Minister Engel, who is displaying mild symptoms, is self-isolating at home and will continue to perform his duties via teleworking.
