The Grand Ducal Police have reported that an automated teller machine (ATM) in Esch-sur-Sûre was blown up in the early hours of Tuesday 22 March 2022.
Shortly after 02:00 on Tuesday, an ATM on Rue du Moulin in Esch-sur-Sûre was blown out of the wall of a building.
The perpetrator(s) escaped undetected after the crime.
The Diekirch public prosecutor's office was informed and ordered the criminal police to secure evidence and investigate the crime scene. It remains unclear whether any money was stolen.
