Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs announced on Monday that Minister Franz Fayot has tested positive for COVID-19.

Following regular screening through rapid antigen tests, Luxembourg's Minister of the Economy and Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, Franz Fayot, tested positive for COVID-19. The positive result was confirmed by a PCR test.

In accordance with the health provisions in force, Minister Fayot, who is displaying mild symptoms, is self-isolating at home and will continue to perform his duties via teleworking.
