On Tuesday 15 March 2022, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, will undertake an official visit to Luxembourg.
As part of this official visit, President Roberta Metsola will meet with Luxembourg's Prime Minister Xavier Bettel at Hôtel Saint-Maximin (headquarters of the Ministry of State) in Luxembourg-Ville. She will also meet Luxembourg's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn, at Bâtiment Mansfeld (headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs).
Discussions will mainly focus on preparations for the next European Council to be held on 24 and 25 March 2022 in Brussels (Belgium), as well as the main current European and international issues.
Moreover, the European Parliament President will meet with His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg.
On Tuesday afternoon, she will deliver a speech to the Chamber of Deputies (Luxembourg's Parliament), followed by a meeting with students at Lycée Athénée de Luxembourg.
