Yellow, Orange Weather Alerts Issued for Strong Winds

Luxembourg's weather portal, MeteoLux, has issued yellow and orange weather warnings in relation to strong winds for Wednesday and Thursday respectively for the whole country.

The yellow weather warning for strong winds will be in place nationwide on Wednesday 16 February 2022 from 20:00 to 23:59. Wind gusts are expected to reach speeds of between 65 and 85 km / h.

This nationwide weather warning will be upgraded from yellow to orange on Thursday 17 February 2022 from 00:00 to 05:59. MeteoLux warned of wind gusts of between 90 and 100 km / h. The warning will be downgraded to yellow again (for all of Luxembourg) on Thursday between 06:00 and 16:59. Wind gusts of between 65 and 85 km / h are foreseen.
