The total extent of the damage will be determined by local and national authorities in the coming days.
Interior Minister Taina Bofferding thanked all those involved in this emergency, whether professionally or voluntarily. She expressed particular gratitude to all private individuals who have come to the aid of their fellow citizens and have thus shown solidarity and good citizenship.
The crisis unit has closed its work and will meet again if necessary. The various entities remain active in the field and the work will continue. The population is asked to respect all the instructions and injunctions of the authorities.
