Shortly before 18:00 on Thursday evening, the Smart Tower on the Rue de Bouillon in Luxembourg-Hollerich (opposite the ISL and other schools in the educational campus) suffered a serious fire.
The emergency services were called to the scene of the fire and managed to extinguish the blaze which they believe started due to a short-circuit in a neon sign.
The fire was quickly brought under control and resulted in the fire not spreading to neighbouring buildings. Nobody was hurt in the fire.
