Yesterday evening a man was a victim of a hit-and-run shortly after 18:00 in Bettembourg.
The man had been crossing the rue de la Briqueterie in Bettembourg, when a young blonde woman in a white car hit him hard enough to knock him to the ground. The car departed the scene and the police are now looking into the incident. The man was taken to hospital by emergency services.
The police have now launched an appeal for witnesses to the incident and have asked any individual with relevant information to contact tel: 4997-5500.
