Two police officers patrolling on foot near the Luxembourg city station on Wednesday evening observed what appeared to be two men selling drugs on rue Joseph Junck.
The incident happened at around 23:15; the police officers observed the two men being surrounded by what they assumed as drug users and were in the process of selling what was later confirmed to be various drugs.
When they approached, the group scattered but the police officers managed to aprehend and arrest one of the two men selling drugs. In a subsequent body search hundreds of euros and 59 balls of cocaine were confiscated.
