On Wednesday, the Luxembourg government gave the go-ahead for the construction of a new amphitheatre for the University of Luxembourg at its Kirchberg campus.

The government has agreed to provide the land to the André Losch Foundation which will develop the amphitheatre close to the Tudor building (previously occupied by the Centre de Recherche Henri Tudor, which has now become part of LIST, the Luxembourg Institute for Science and Technology).

The project is aimed for the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance of the university, as well as to be used by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) of the University of Luxembourg, and the Max Planck Institute of International and European regulatory procedural law, for them to be housed at a single site in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
