On Friday 27 November 2015, the Diekirch criminal investigation department succeeded in arresting a gang near Hosingen suspected to be connected with a spate of recent burglaries in Luxembourg.
The arrests were carried out alongside other policy units from the north of the county and under the guidance of the Diekirch competent adjudicator. The police report that the investigation was heavily dependent on observations offered by the public, and further called on the population to remain vigilant and notify the police of any suspicious people, vehicles or activity.
