Following the terrorist attacks of Paris on Friday, a minute's silence was observed on Monday at midday at the French Embassy in Luxembourg (8 Boulevard Joseph II in Luxembourg city)

A number of dignataries, including Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Marie-Therese, Luxembourg's Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, Speaker at the Chambre des Deputés, Mars di BArtholomeo, Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer and others laid wreathes and signed the book of condolence as a large crowd gathered outside.

At the same time, in the courtyard in front of the Grand Ducal palace in Luxembourg city, the Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume, together with the Hereditary Grand Duchess Stephanie, led a minute's silence.
