The US Embassy announced yesterday that it has decided this year to participate in the 2015 Heritage Days event organised by the Service des Sites et Monuments Nationaux of the Luxembourg Government.

The Ambassador's residence, an imposing 20th century architectural testament to US-Luxembourg relations, will be made open to the public between 14:00 and 18:00 on Saturday 3 October 2015, with special historical tours given every half hour. Visitors will also be able to view the new art exhition dedicated to Luxembourg Women artist which was inaugurated yesterday.

The residence opening will form part of this year's edition of Heritage Days ('Journées du Patrimoine'), running from 24 September to 11 October 2015, which will be centered around the theme 'The Colours of Built Heritage'.

To participate, registration must be filled out by contacting LuxembourgRSVP@state.gov or 46-01-23-2137. Guided tours will take place at the Ambassador's residence at 22, Boulevard Emmanuel Servais L-2535 Luxembourg. The last tour will be conducted at 17:30.
