An excavator operator was killed in Kirchberg yesterday morning after a tragic accident occurred on a construction site.
At around 10:25 on 10 September 2015, an excavator operator became buried under his heavy machine whilst about to deposit rubble at a construction site along Boulevard Pierre Frieden.
The accident, the origins of which are still hitherto unknown, resulted in the man sustaining fatal injuries. The incident is now being investigated by ITM and forensics to determine how it came about.
