On 3 and 4 September 2015, Minister of Health for Luxembourg Lydia Mutsch will be in Vienna to participate in the third meeting of Germanophone Health Ministers.
Austrian Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Sabine Oberhauser; Federal Minister of Health of Germany, Hermann Gröhe; Swiss Federal Councillor and Head of the Department of the Interior, Dr. Alain Berset; and Government Councillor for the Ministry of Society of Liechtenstein, Dr. Mauro Pedrazzini, are expected to also be in attendance at the meeting, which will occur whilst the ministerial conference to discuss culture and development will be taking place in the Grand Duchy.
This year's meeting will aim to follow in the footsteps of previous annual meetings of German health ministers as a political platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge in developing a cross-border regional collaboration in the health sector.
Within the framework of several meetings, the Ministers will discuss pharmaceutical costs, national vaccination and communication strategies, as well as the key to implementing a 'Health in all Policies' programme.
Minister Mutsch will also draw on the opportunity to lead a meeting with Austrian counterpart concerning equal opportunities, Federal Minister of Education and Women, Gabriele Heinisch-Hosek.
