Workers at the Dudelange animal shelter received a surprise when they arrived into work on Monday morning: they discovered 5 puppies had been abandoned at the building adjacent to the animal shelter, located in Park Le'h.
The group of dogs was comprised of two female Chihuahuas and three German Shepherd puppies and none of the dogs have collars or chips, making them difficult to trace.
Police suspect that the act could have taken place around 07:00 in the morning of 13 July 2015, and are asking any members with the public with information on the identity of these dogs or on any suspicious activity witnessed near the animal shelter at this time to report to Dudelange police.
