Monday 21 February 2022 marked the opening of the photography exhibition "Urban Dialog" (urban dialogue) in Merl Park in Luxembourg-Hollerich.

The opening took place in the presence of Laurent Mosar, Alderman of the City of Luxembourg (Ville de Luxembourg - VdL), and Jessica Theis, the artist behind the exhibition.

The Urban Dialog project was produced by Luxembourg artist-photographer Jessica Theis with a view to installing it in Merl Park. As its title, derived from the Latin “urbanus” and the Greek “diálogos” indicates, the exhibition deals with the dialogue between the photographed subject and its environment.

The photographs are printed on a glossy and semi-transparent support, which helps the architectural fragments represented to enter into conversation with the natural and wild context of the surroundings. This also involves visitors or passers-by whose image is reflected on the panels.

The exhibition will remain on display until June 2022.

Free entry.
